July 6, 2009
In a new Ask the Sleep Expert article, Dr. Barbara Phillips — sleep expert, board member and past chair of the National Sleep Foundation — conducts a roundtable discussion on the topic of women and sleep apnea. More than 18 million American adults have sleep apnea. In the article, Phillips asks some noted experts about the unique challenges women in particular face in being diagnosed with sleep apnea.
